College Campus Crime Prevention Tips

In just one week there were four cases of students arrested and robbed on or near its campus in Atlanta. In the following week to another campus in Atlanta near four students were kidnapped at gunpoint. Thieves have stolen their wallets, locked jewelry, cell phones and ATM cards, they are in the trunk and drove to an ATM nearby. I’m sure the intention was to force young men to give them their pin numbers. However, one of the victims had secretly kept his phone on him and managed to call to 911. The thieves were arrested at the ATM and the victims were unharmed.

In March, a student was on a university campus in western Georgia sexually abused when she went into a class to a market hall. She went to a well-lit, well-traveled road at dusk.

They are isolated cases? There seems to be a wave of crime in the universities in Georgia? No! I’m just living in Georgia and hear news of our universities. It happens in all schools in all provinces. The daughter of a friend reported three separate flights occurred in the parking lot on campus housing. His first years were three rapes reported on campus, one of the “safe” college in Florida. However, if your son or daughter is looking to participate in the university you’ve never heard of these reports. You want your business, crime on campus have no business. More a matter of fact, dealt with by the security on campus and therefore not reported to the public, except in certain well-hidden statistics. (more…)

Community college costs are usually less than 4 years of university. Students can take courses at a community college and earn credits for a 2 year or 4 year course at a lower cost.

Community colleges, local universities, which will offer 2 years degree, certifications, and many classes later be transferred to a four-year college. The average cost for community colleges is less than 4 years of university.

The national average cost of tuition for public universities is $ 4,694 per year for state residents. This includes tuition fees for full-time student.

The average cost of tuition fees at universities and private universities is about $ 20,000 a year in tuition fees.

Now compare that average annual tuition at a community college. The average cost of tuition for community colleges is $ 2,076 per year. It’s less than half a year of college in four traditional and far less public as a private university.
